The design service is 100% FREE.  There are no hidden fees or obligations.
 
How long does take to receive my new design?
Designs can take a few hours to develop so we try and get back all designs within 1-2 business days.

How do I design my kitchen with the right cabinets?
Every kitchen design is different.  It is very important that you take the right steps to making sure that you order exactly what is needed for your particular kitchen.  Cabinet Factory Outlet Plus offers a FREE design service to ensure that you get your order correct without any mistakes. 

How do I measure my kitchen and provide the right dimensions?
Accurate measurements are critical to the success of your design. We can help make sure your measurements are correct before we order you cabinets. We have also developed a design worksheet that you can print off and begin a sketch with. Download the pdf file by clicking here.

How do I install my kitchen cabinets?
We recommend that you have some experience with kitchen cabinet installation or hire a professional.  It is very important that you hire someone with good experience.  Cabinet Factory Outlet Plus will work with you to make sure that you order the right items to make your kitchen complete.

Are the kitchen cabinets all wood or particleboard?
Great question, you should always be asking.  All of the Cabinet Factory Outlets  cabinets are solid wood or plywood, unless you specifically order a stock unfinished cabinet for a garage or workroom. Some of those less expensive cabinets can have particleboard construction. Be sure and talk with one of our design specialists about your cabinets construction.

Should I feel comfortable ordering kitchen cabinets over the internet?
Maybe not, in fact at Cabinet Factory Outlet Plus we have made a very conscious decision not to allow online ordering. While the internet is a wonderful thing, we feel that there are simple too many detail questions that need to be answered to do a good job online.  We hope you find our website informative and helpful but we really encourage anyone who is ready to remodel a kitchen or bath to speak to one of our designers. The conversation is free and more often then not we ask a few questions that you may not have thought of yet.

Are all the kitchen cabinets in stock and how long does it take to receive my cabinets?
Cabinet Factory Outlet Plus is a big place and we might have what you want in stock but odds are we will have to custom order it. On average cabinets take about 3 to 4 weeks to delivered. We strive to get all orders shipped as fast as possible. However we realize you don’t remodel every day and it is far more important to get it right than to get is super fast.

What is tailgate delivery?
This means that the freight company is only responsible to take the product to the tailgate or end of the truck.  This does not come with a lift gate service.  PLEASE NOTE: Many of the products are very large/heavy and may require at least two or three people to unload.  Other delivery options are available for an additional charge and are the responsibility of the customer. 

What if I need extra items or need another cabinet?
You can order single items the same way that you ordered your other products.

What are assembled cabinets?
Assembled cabinets are manufactured and assembled at the plant.  They avoid the consumer from having to put the cabinets together.  Each individual cabinet comes complete.

Do I need finished end panels for the sides of the cabinets?
Yes, for most of the cabinet lines you will need to order panels for all exposed cabinet sides.  Our designers can help you determine where you need panels.

Do I need toe kick for the bottom of the cabinets?
Yes you will need to order toe kick for the bottom of the cabinets.

Terms and Definitions:
Drawer Fronts:The exterior decorative facing that normally matches the cabinet door.
Face Frame: The frame around the front of the cabinet where the doors attach.
Floor Joist: The parallel framing members used to support the floor.
Header: A beam placed across the top of an opening to support and distribute weight.
Level:A perfectly horizontal surface. Also, a tool used to determine if a surface is horizontal.
Load-Bearing Wall: A wall which supports part of the structural weight of a building.
Plumb:A perfectly perpendicular surface, or straight up and down.
Shims: Wood wedges used as spacers to square, plumb or level a surface.
Soffit:The finished area between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling.
Square:When right angles are a true 90º. Also, an L-shaped tool used to measure squareness.
Stud:Upright members used to support interior and exterior wall surfaces. Normally a 2x4 or 2x6 length of lumber, spaced 16" (on center) apart in most homes.
Toekick: Clearance space for feet at the bottom of base cabinets to allow people to stand closer to the cabinet.
